Employment Opportunties
Each year the Los Paseos Association hires a seasonal staff of Lifeguards, Swim Instructors and Gate Attendants.
Employment applications may be submitted at anytime during the year. Typically intereviews take place in February and March, with the season opening in May.

Head Lifeguards
A minimum of two years experience, must be 18 years or older. Looking for mature individuals with strong leadership qualities, excellent problem solving skills and ability to respond to emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Will work with Junior Lifeguard. Lifeguard and CPR for Professional Rescuer certification required.
Lifeguards
Looking for mature individuals with strong leadership qualities, excellent problem solving skills and ability to respond to emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Will work with Head Lifeguard. Must be comfortable correcting both youth and adult unsafe behaviors. Lifeguard and CPR for Professional Rescuer certification required.
Gate Attendants
14 years and up. Looking for mature and responsible individuals with good communication and people skills. Must be able to handle money, count back change and balance cash box at end of shift. Required to make daily announcements over loud speaker. Problem solving skills a plus.
Swim Instructors
16 years and up. Looking for individuals who enjoy working with children. Must be able to follow lesson plans and adjust to each unique child. Will be required to interact with parents to report childs progress.
